Membership Renewal

2022 Membership Dues Notices

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to a new year! I would like to express my gratitude for your continued membership and support.

Despite the pandemic and all the obstacles it has posed over the past two years, the Southern California Rheumatology Society has continued to provide learning opportunities and resources for the rheumatology community, from academics to community physicians to trainees.  In 2020, we launched our first T-10 Teach the Teacher Series, a virtual series of lectures featuring respected leaders and educators in the field of rheumatology.  In 2021, we held our second edition of the series, again to positive reception. This free series focuses on improving teaching and evaluation skills among rheumatologists involved in education but is open to all, members and non-members alike.

We will continue to ensure that all members can stay connected and involved during the pandemic. Last year, we were proud to announce that all presentation slides and videos would be  available for viewing on the SCRS website.  We hope that many of you will find this feature useful.  Also, we have a biannual newsletter available on the website, designed to keep our members and prospective members up to date on all meetings, society activities, and relevant announcements.

We are looking forward to a successful and fruitful 2022.  We will continue to keep our members safe by continuing to offer virtual conferences, but will also consider in-person engagements when the opportunity arises.  Also, we will be recognizing those members who have served the rheumatology community and will be announcing the recipient of the Southern California Rheumatology Society Service Award later this year.  Please stay tuned for details on award nomination procedures, as well as our 2022 program.

We also want to remind you that it is time to pay the SCRS annual membership fees.  Remember you may pay dues through the SCRS website; or by sending the attached form with your payment.

Again, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your membership and support.  Let us continue our mission to provide an ethical and educational forum for our members in the field of rheumatology and related specialties.
